Second post of the 'farewell to oral meds' series, on lurasidone (Latuda, Sunovion). The author explains why Sunovion never sought a mania indication: it holds an uncommon bipolar-depression indication and has no economic reason to fund mania research. Implicit call: Sunovion will not pursue a mania indication. Footnote 7 adds 'So they left that for the academics!'
