Setup for the article. Two RCTs: Han et al. (Brain Stimulation, March 19, 2025), accelerated personalised iTBS targeting the left prefrontal region most connected to the VTA for negative symptoms (n=80, Cohen's d 0.83 at week 4); and an earlier RCT for positive symptoms (auditory hallucinations, AHRS). The author says the brain circuit (TMS) approach may be promising for schizophrenia.
