Essay prompted by the sex-trafficking indictment of former Abercrombie & Fitch CEO Michael Jeffries and the Sean Combs allegations; the author argues trauma propagates ('hurt people hurt people'). Conditional societal claim: without care for violent or at-risk people, violence, trauma and exploitation follow and everyone suffers.
