Satire or irony
“A child psychiatrist reflects, in advance, about the next preventable mass shooting that will rock our nation to the core. ... Yet again, high-capacity magazines allowed one young man, between the ages of 16 and 26, to take his isolation and rage and turn it into a storm of lead”
Another US mass shooting will occur and will follow the predictable template: young male aged 16-26, legally purchased assault rifle and high-capacity magazines, prior warning signs, manifesto or videos posted beforehand. Satirical framing; claim reads as sincere.
Marked or evident satire, hyperbole or irony.
